Affordable Connectivity Program

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is making broadband affordable for low-income households.  ACP helps to pay for access to internet that everyone needs for work, school, health care and more.

More About ACP

The ACP benefit provides a discount of:

  • Up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households, or
  • Up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands

Device discount up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)

Only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household.  Not every internet provider offers device discounts.

Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)

Many residents and landlords have inquired about the County’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP).

The County of Fresno received $13.9 million from the US Treasury Department and is pending a State Block Grant for an estimated $15.1 million for this program.  The funds will be used for direct financial assistance to eligible renter households in the County’s jurisdiction that have been impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Specifically, the program is intended for back rent owed to landlords.
