Our Provider and Recipient Call Center will no longer provide timesheet or check status. This information can be viewed 24 hours a day online, at the Electronic Services Portal (ESP)
Are you wondering if your timesheet was received and processed yet? Do you want to know if your payment has been issued yet? Now you can utilize the ESP to access this information 24 hours a day!
IHSS Care Providers and IHSS Recipients can now access the California Department of Social Services' Electronic Services Portal to get real-time timesheet and payment status information? Using the Electronic Services Portal (ESP) reduces the wait time between mailing a timesheet at the end of a pay period and when the check is delivered.
And, by registering on the ESP, you will be able to:
• View your timesheet and payment statuses
• Enter and submit timesheets
• No longer mail paper timesheets
• Request additional timesheets
• Enroll in direct deposit
• Claim sick leave
The new website is accessible by smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. All you need is internet access and your own personal email address.

Time Frames and Processing
State of CA 10 day issue policy
The state of CA has ten (10) business days to issue a payment to you from the date your timesheet is received at the timesheet processing facility. The timesheet is mailed separately from the paycheck. The timesheet is mailed from the EDD office in Sacramento, CA. and the check is mailed from the State Controller’s office in Sacramento, CA. Completed timesheet should always be mailed to:

Stop Payment Policy (Void and Reissue Check)
If you have not received your paycheck ten (10) business days after your check was issued, call the Provider & Recipient Call Center (PARCC) at (559) 600-6666 option 4 for directions on how to request a Stop Payment of the check that was not received and have a new check reissued.
Direct Deposit Online Enrollment Service is Now Available!
As an IHSS Care Provider you can request that your payments are automatically deposited into your checking or savings account instead of being sent to you through the mail.
What are the advantages of direct deposit? Your payroll checks can't get lost in the mail or stolen from your mailbox, purse or pocket. You may have access to your money sooner because you don't have to wait for the check to arrive through the mail.
And, beginning February 12th, 2018, IHSS Care Providers now have the option of enrolling for Direct Deposit Online! The new Online Direct Deposit Enrollment Service allows current, active IHSS/WPCS providers in all California counties the ability to electronically enroll, change or dis-enroll by using the website, instead of using a paper form.
All IHSS Providers are eligible for direct deposit if they meet the following requirements:
- You must be registered on the ESP Website
- You must be actively working for an IHSS and/or WPCS recipient
- Have an open checking or savings account
- Have your Bank Name, Account Number and the Routing Number
If you would like to enroll via paper form you can Download Direct Deposit Forms. Please remember that you must submit a separate form for each IHSS Recipient that you want payments to be directly deposited for. If there are no timesheets submitted for 60 days, you will be dis-enrolled from direct deposit and will have to re-enroll. Once all sections of the form are complete please sign, date and mail to:
