RECENT EVENTS

5/31/2023 - Fruit Trail

The 2023 Fresno County Fruit Trail season has officially begun, some stands are opened year-round. Most stands are running behind, with many varieties about two weeks later than normal. Some tree fruit is available, and blueberries and blackberries should be starting within a few days. The strawberry stands are in full production now.

The Trail is a collection of local growers, wineries, and ag-related businesses in eastern Fresno County, similar to a wine trail. Some fruit stands are seasonal, and some are opened year-round. For more on the specific varieties of fruit available or at which stands please contact the fruit stands directly. The stands are scattered throughout the area.

There is no admission or tickets. Hours vary by location.

Some locations are tour bus friendly, and that is mentioned in their description.

Please visit www.GoFruitTrail.com for the latest information available on local farms, as well as a map. Updates are periodically posted on Twitter @gofruittrail. We also have some farmers markets listed, as well as some information on community events – general links to the host organization.

5/26/2023 - Fruit Trail

Fresno County is celebrating the 20th season of the Fresno County Fruit Trail with an opening ceremony on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sun-Maid Growers of California in Kingsburg.

Farm stands and stores are already featuring the best fresh-picked strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries, apricots, peaches, and nectarines to the delight of the fruit-loving public. The Fresno County Fruit Trail is similar to a wine trail and features a drive through the countryside with stops permitting visitors to taste and purchase the very best local produce, fresh from the farm.  The Trail is a cooperative public and private partnership that brings together the County of Fresno, partner cities, member stops, and trail partners.

Fresno County Fruit Trail visitors can find updated trail information online at www.gofruittrail.com or follow the Fruit Trail on Twitter (@gofruittrail), allowing visitors and local fruit lovers easy access to the latest news on trail offerings and available fresh produce.  Fruit Trail maps can be found online at member stands/stores, chambers of commerce, and visitor centers throughout eastern Fresno County.
