Public Health Nursing Program FAQs

What is the Public Health Nursing Program?

The Public Health Nursing Program provides free and voluntary, short-term home visitation services to children 0-17 years, including children ages 0-5 in childcare, with concerning developmental and/or behavioral concerns and pregnant women of any gestational age. Clients receive one on one support by a Public Health Nurse, assessments and screenings, education on various health topics, as well as referrals to community resources.  

Services are made available to Fresno County residents.
