Day Care, Preschool, and Grade School Immunizations

Registration for the new school year is here!

Children will not be enrolled unless immunizations are up-to-date.

 SB 277 School Law (Effective January 2016)

  • Parents or guardians of students in any public or private school or child care facility will no longer be allowed to submit a personal beliefs exemption to a currently-required vaccine. 
  • Parents or guardians are still required to provide immunization records for students attending public or private schools. 
  • Schools are still required to maintain and report immunization records of students enrolled.

The Fresno County Department of Public Health (FCDPH) Immunization Program provides immunizations for children, who qualify for the Vaccines for Children program (VFC), and eligible adults to protect them against vaccine-preventable diseases.
