Fresno County District 2 Supervisor Steve Brandau takes Oath of Office

FRESNO, CA – Newly Elected District 2 Supervisor Steve Brandau was sworn into office today at the Fresno County Board of Supervisors meeting by Sheriff Margaret Mims.

“As Chairman of the Fresno County Board of Supervisors, I am excited that we are once again a five member Board. Constituents of District 2 will be well represented by Supervisor Brandau” said Chairman Nathan Magsig.

Supervisor Brandau, a lifelong resident of the County of Fresno, was born and raised in Selma. He lived in Clovis and currently resides in Fresno. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from CSU, Fresno. Supervisor Brandau’s desire to be an active member of his community led him to serve as Fresno City Councilmember for the last six years.

“My colleagues and the County staff have made me feel welcome. I was blessed to be sworn in today, and my staff and I are excited to serve our district and the entire County of Fresno” said Supervisor Brandau.
