We Love you to Pieces
Fresno, CA – In keeping with the Fresno County Clerk/Registrar of Voters’ longstanding tradition of supporting community projects at Valentine’s Day, County Clerk Brandi L. Orth is inviting the community to join in the “Until All the Pieces Fit,” toy and puzzle drive.
Orth said, “Every child with Autism is a unique piece, and we strive to help them create their life picture.” She further invited all those throughout Fresno County to, “Be a piece of the puzzle and help enhance the education of children with Autism by donating any of the following ‘pieces’:
- Blocks (wooden, Legos, plastic etc.)
- Cars (miniature/toy)
- Sensory toys (balls, light up toys, toys that make music)
- Exercise balls
Collections are being accepted between now and February 14th at the County Clerk’s office located at 2220 Tulare St., 1st Floor and at the Elections office located at 2221 Kern Street, in downtown Fresno.
In addition to this collection drive, the County Clerk’s office will be open on Tuesday, February 14th from 8:30am to 4:00pm for those wishing to purchase a marriage license and have a ceremony performed on this special day.
The Fresno Autism Network (FAN) is a local non-profit organization that provides support services to families of children with Autism here in Fresno County.
