Employment Opportunities

Attorneys seeking employment with the Fresno County District Attorney's Office may view the Deputy District Attorney job specification sheet below. To apply for a deputy district attorney position, please complete the Fresno County job application and submit it along with any other paperwork requested per the job specification sheet.

If you are interested in working for the Fresno County District Attorney's office in a capacity other than as a deputy district attorney, please contact the Fresno County Personnel Department for a list of open positions.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Fresno District Attorney's Office provides numerous opportunities for volunteer work including student intern, staff and attorney volunteer assignments for qualified individuals interested in making a difference in our community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must meet professional standards
  • Must consent to and pass a background/criminal history check
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week during normal business hours, Monday - Friday

The District Attorney's Office reserves the right to refuse placement of any individual as a volunteer within the office if the applicant has a criminal history, lacks the technical skills, education, or interpersonal skills necessary for the position he/she desires.
