County Clerk Now Accepting Donations of Dental Hygiene supplies for Valentine's Day drive
Can't Smile Without You
Fresno, CA, The Fresno County Clerk’s Office will be open on Wednesday, February 14th from 8:30am to 4:00pm for those wishing to purchase a marriage license and have a ceremony performed on this special day. The office is located at 2220 Tulare Street, First Floor, in downtown Fresno.
In addition, County Clerk Brandi L. Orth is inviting the community to join the, “Can’t Smile Without You!" dental hygiene drive. Each year at Valentine's Day, the County Clerk maintains her longstanding tradition of supporting community projects that can have a positive impact. This year, donations of toothbrushes and toothpaste are being accepted at the Clerk's office.
Clerk Orth said, “Everyone from children to adults have a need for good dental hygiene. Many times, when those in our community are in a crisis situation, basic essentials such as a toothbrush or toothpaste are not always available. As a way to assist, we are collecting these items which will then be donated to the Marjaree Mason Center.”
The Marjaree Mason Center provides emergency and longer-term safe housing, along with a wide variety of support services for victims of domestic violence in Fresno County. Orth added "Sometimes even a small smile can make a big difference."
Donations of toothbrushes and toothpaste are being accepted between now and February 14th at the County Clerk’s office located at 2220 Tulare St., 1st Floor and at the Elections office located at 2221 Kern Street, in downtown Fresno.
