Specialty Clinic Closure
(Sexually transmitted disease, family planning)
On May 11, 2010, the Fresno County Board of Supervisors approved budget revisions that included the closure of the Specialty Clinic. The closure of the clinic is due in large part to the continuing decline in revenue.
The Specialty Clinic is scheduled to be closed on June 25, 2010.
This clinic has offered services for diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, family planning services and care for HIV positive patients (through the Early Intervention Program).
