The Central San Joaquin Valley is known for its very hot summers.

In preparation of the upcoming summer season, the Department of Public Health has made available information on heat health and safety. The links below offer information on how to stay healthy and safe during normal hot summer weather as well as precautions to take during periods of extreme heat.
