California's child care centers, preschools, public schools, and private schools are required by law to check immunization records before children enter.

The new law (SB 277), effective since January 2016, changed immunization requirements for children entering child care or school by eliminating the personal belief exemption.  More information on the required immunization doses and the new law (SB 277) is found at www.shotsforschool.org
