Welcome to the Fresno County Recorder website
August 6th, 2015 - Effective August 10th, 2015, the Fresno County Assessor’s Office will limit the number of Vital Records (birth, death, and marriage records) to a maximum of 1 per record request, per event, and per person.
For example, if you intend to request two Birth Certificates for one person, we will only provide one. If you want two Birth Certificates for two separate people, we will provide both.
Additional copies may be purchased from VitalChek.com or the California Department of Public Health.
