Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of Weights & Measures
The Fresno County Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer, under direction of the California Department of Food and Agriculture and the California Department of Pesticide Regulation, conducts law enforcement and service functions required by state and federal laws and regulations as well as law enforcement and service functions required by measures and ordinances authorized by the Fresno County Board of Supervisors. The primary purposes of this department are to protect the agricultural industry, environment, and the public health, safety and welfare.
