 Voted Ballot Drive-Thru Service

Fresno County voters lead busy lives and increasingly are opting for the convenience of voting by mail. Brandi Orth, Registrar of Voters (ROV), wants to make it equally easy and convenient for such voters to return their ballots.

The County Elections office will have nine (9) Voted Ballot Drive Thru sites where voters can simply drive-up and drop-off their ballots all day during the Tuesday, November 6, 2012 election. The sites will be located throughout the county, with one in each of the five supervisorial districts and will be open the entire time the polls are open. (From 7 am until 8 pm)

“Registered voter convenience is at the heart of this new implementation,” said Ms. Orth, “The Drive-Thru sites open all Election Day are expected to help ease and reduce the problems voters experience finding parking and having to wait in lines when returning their ballots to polling places.”
