         Kearney Park
 

Kearney Park is a day use park providing recreation with one playground, 11 group picnic reservation areas, two softball fields, two soccer fields, picnic shelters, two dance slabs and two horseshoe pits.

Kearny Mansion is located in the park and operated by the Fresno Historical Society.

Park Hours 
Summer Hours: April 1st - September 30th from 7 AM to 10 PM
Winter Hours: October 1st - March 31st from 7 AM to 7 PM 

Vehicle Entrance Fees
Entrance fees at all developed Parks is $5 per vehicle.

Annual passes are available for $40 per year and can be purchased at Ace Parking, 2125 Kern Street #100, Fresno, CA 93721.  Telephone (559) 264-6422

To make a picnic area reservation download the Reservation Application Packet or call (559) 600-3004. Kearney Park has several reservable picnic areas available  at various prices for large and small gatherings. A map of the picnic areas is available in PDF.

History
Kearney Park became the first County's park in 1949 with the signing of an agreement with the Regents of the University of California. 

The 225 acre park, located on Kearney Boulevard, is seven miles west of Fresno and draws the greatest number of visitors among the parks in the regional park system. A prime attraction is the Kearney Mansion built in 1900.
