Fresno County Substance Use Disorder Services Mission

The Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), Contracts Division – Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services is charged with the planning, development, and administration of a countywide substance use disorder prevention and treatment system. The Contracts Division - SUD Services’ mission is to support appropriate education, prevention, and treatment services to reduce or eliminate alcohol and other drug (AOD) - related barriers to ongoing health, well-being, and economic independence of individuals and families.

Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System Waiver Information:

The Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC ODS) Waiver will be implemented in Fresno County and has the potential to greatly increase benefits provided to the public.  The Department of Behavioral Health has opted-in for these benefits and is asking for input from the community in order to best serve the public. Fresno County is tasked with implementing this Organized Delivery System and increasing services and access to those who need assistance.  Please see the information provided below to answer any questions you may have.
