Fresno County Indian Gaming Local Community Benefit Committee Bylaws
Senate Bills (SB) 621 and (SB) 288 became law on January 1, 2004 and March 28, 2006 respectively, making grant funding available from the Indian Gaming Special Distribution Fund to counties, cities, and special districts impacted by tribal gaming. The Indian Gaming Special Distribution Fund was established for the receipt and deposit of gaming license fees received from tribes pursuant to the terms of tribal-state compacts. In Fresno County, these Tribes are Table Mountain Rancheria and Big Sandy Rancheria. The Fresno County Indian Gaming Local Community Benefit Committee (IGLCBC) is responsible for selecting these grants pursuant to the priorities and requirements stated in law.
