Fresno County Recorder Fee Schedule
As used below, all sheets of a "Standard Document" are 8 ½" by 11"
Effective July 1, 1994, documents executed on or after July 1, 1994, must comply with the standard 8½" by 11" sheet and paper size to avoid penalty, and may never exceed 8½" by 14".
Any document including any sheet not 8½" by 11" will cost the regular recording fee PLUS an ADDITIONAL $3.00 PER PAGE OF THE DOCUMENT to record, per Government Code 27361.1.

STANDARD DOCUMENT RECORDING FEES effective July 1, 2010
- $18.00 - first page of each document
- $15.00 - first page of each Deed that contains Transfer Tax
- $ 3.00 - each additional page
- $ 1.00 - each page containing penalty print
- $ 18.00 - each additional title on multiple titled document
- $ 1.00 - each reference to a previously recorded document|
- $ 1.00 - indexing of more than 10 names. Each group of 10 names or fraction thereof.
- $16.00 - release of lien by a government agency
- $ 6.00 - lien notice fee for each name and address of debtors against whom an involuntary lien is recorded
NON-STANDARD DOCUMENT
- $3.00 - each page of a document that contains one or more sheets which do not measure 8½" x 11" added to the standard document recording fees above.
PRELIMINARY CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP REPORT
- $20.00 - applies to any document evidencing a change of ownership when presented for recording, if not accompanied by a preliminary change of ownership report

- $ 2.00 - each additional page larger than 8½" x 11" (other than first page)
- $ 1.00 - certification under seal (additional fee per document)

$14.00 - Birth Certificate
$13.00 - Marriage Certificate
$12.00 - Death Certificate |
Only Marriage Certificates may be ordered by telephone. If you order by telephone, you will be charged an additional $6.00 credit card fee.
